    The Toronto Raptors have agreed to send Jermaine O'Neal and Jamario Moon to the Miami Heat in exchange for Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks, league sources told ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher.

    The deal is pending league approval, according to league sources.

    Miami dump Banks's contract and fill a need.

    It could also mean Marion's asking price for an extension was too steep for Riley.

    An interesting point is that in a recent report it claimed Marion wanted an extension from the team who trades for him.

    Well, the Heat get their center and SF. If O'Neal stays healthy, that's going to be a good team.

    good trade for both.

    miami makes room for beasley to grow while filling in a huge void at the 5. they get out of banks terrible contract. they even manage to add moon, one of the better young perimeter defenders in the league.

    JO, haslem, moon, wade, chalmers = one of the best defensive lineups in the league.

    next year JO will have one of the most desirable contracts in the league. home run for miami. well done riles!

    moon is basically marion on the cheap, but why get o'neal who has an extra year on his deal when boozer wanted to sign there this offseason.

    Really STUPID trade on the Heat's part, btw. What's his contract look like? I couldn't find out how many years he has left.

    Yeah.. atleast they managed to retain Beasley. that guy is capable of growing into a good player.. but JO is perpetually injured.. thats the bad part of this..

    anyway.. its all abt the contract.

    Wade & Banks were Miami's only two guaranteed contracts for 2010. Now it's only Wade and it's a player option.
