Last year I touted the virtues of Yi Jianlian and how happy he was to be playing in the NBA. Happy for Lin. He's living his dream and making history while he's at it. I bet he's more popular in the Bay than ellis or curry lol. They have a huge asian community down there.
lin played 16 minutes tonight against the lakers due to curry's injury. he actually did pretty well. was very active on defense, leading to 4 steals (and also 5 fouls, lol). 3 assists and 2 points on 1 for 5 shooting. was very aggressive driving to the hoop and finding open teammates. i think the most promising thing about him is just how well-liked he is by his teammates and the community. a good attitude in a good situation will go a long way in making a smooth transition to the nba.
