    It seems Jeremy Lin is being scouted by the biggest of the big leagues.

    According to Msgr. Melchor Sanchez de Toca Alameda, head of the council's "Culture and Sport" section, instead of sports being an activity that builds important values, respects human dignity and helps shape the whole human person, "it has reduced people to merchandise."

    Murray will almost certainly oppose this non-asset based philosophy.

    Rather than bash a good institution, I would rather lament that the Catholic vote wasn't galvanized with the Asian vote in time to push a 5 man Rockets front into the Allstar Game.
