You may never heard of him, but you can always refer to your championship t-shirts to see the cartoon version of his face with the rest of the team.
FOTFLMAO.... I remember that...I'll put money that 90% of those pople with that shirt, didn't even know him either...
I knew the Rockets picked him up late in the season but I didn't think it was that late. Did he really only play 3 games? And those aren't bad numbers.
Haha this thead is AWSOME! Going wayyy back in the day, i bet more than half of the people here dont even remember him & im one of them.
i think that jent was drafted but just never got off the bench. the only time i remember him getting in some action was in the nba finals. Right before the half he got in with about 10 seconds left. I remember he subbed in during a freethrow. The freethrow missed and Anthony Mason gave him an elbow right to the face. He ran back in the half covering his eye (i think he got stitches)
The funny thing is there are probably some older Rockets fans feeling really old when some of us say "Man, back in the day..." .... and we're talking about 1994.
Wasnt he the one that dropped the trophy during the 1st championship? Or was that Richard Petruska? I get them mixed up.
He showed up at The Club (the gym) in New Territory when he first got to Houston. Barkley came by and signed some balls for the display too. Don't know if Pippen ever came by, but he did move in down the street from Barkley. Come to think of it, my parents' neighborhood was full of Rockets back in the day: Mario, Mad Max, Barkley, Pippendabiotch, and Chris Jent.
come onnnn guys. Chris Jent. Eric Riley. Richard Petruska. Earl Cureton. These were the 90's versions of the guys like Hawkins and Badiane that you're in love with now. Get on your championship team history!
