    Best of luck to JJ. Too bad we never had the minutes (or the inclination) to play him.

    Overall, though, he's not a bad player. If you forget about his salary for a minute you have a tall, lanky and fairly athletic 6'11" player that can defend multiple positions.

    Not a bad option to have coming off your bench if you need some situational defense.

    doesnt phase me one bit except for it would of been nice to package him into a deal just to get a little bit more but whatever. he probably wont see any minutes in NY

    We didn't need him to score, just defend... and he was much better at that then Jordan Hill or Brad Miller. All in all, looks like the only two players left from the McGrady trade are Martin and Hill.
