Interesting. There has always been talks about the Nets being interested in Swift and while he wouldn't be enough compensatoin for RJ, I think the Rockets could put together a package that could entertain the Nets.

    Swift + Howard + #8 for RJ + McInnis + #22

RJ's contract is a major concern for me though as he will be making $15M for the 2010-2011 season.

Maybe we could trade three first round picks for him?

Try Swift Head next years first for Rj alone unlikely but if they would do it can you imagine our big three maybe a top 5 big 3 ever!

max contract or not this is a perfect guy for this team.

stro, Jho, #8 would be our best offer. they could take an athlete like brewer or carney @ #8 in order to run with Kidd.

Who can we give up to get our 13th pick of the 2001 NBA Draft back?

JVG did a lot of Nets games these playoffs for TNT. I remember him saying that he loves both Jefferson and Kristic a lot. I'd do the T-Mac for Jefferson and Kristic any day of the week, and then draft Brewer. I love TMac to death, but his back is a tossup.

What?? That's insanity. First round picks are critical for rebuilding.

You said it! But he's got 5 more years left on a max contract. Too good to be true. No way we could get RJ.

I would rather go after Maggette. With a Swift and Head or the #8th pick

    L.A. Clippers Trade Breakdown
    Outgoing
    Corey Maggette
    6-6 SG from Duke
    17.8 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 2.1 apg in 29.6 minutes
    Incoming
    Stromile Swift
    6-9 PF from Louisiana State
    8.9 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 0.4 apg in 20.4 minutes
    Luther Head
    6-3 PG from Illinois
    8.8 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 2.7 apg in 28.9 minutes
Change in team outlook: -0.1 ppg, +2.4 rpg, and +1.0 apg.

    Houston Trade Breakdown

    Successful Scenario
Due to L.A. Clippers and Houston being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. L.A. Clippers and Houston had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining

I doubt they'd be willing to take on Swift without offloading Rebraca.

Head probably wouldn't interest them since they got Livingston who plays 1 to 3 and the so-called next AK47 lottery pick they drafted this season.

Stro would be beastly in NJ.

I'd give Stro, Head and 8th

    for

    RJ

    or

    Stro, 32th and 8th

for RJ and their 2nd round pick.
