I think JVG needs to lengthen our rotation. He needs to trust our bench a little more. Pike, MJ, Padgett, Boki, AG can all help if given the chance.

I can see the need to play the starters for longer stretches once in a while, but this short rotation is not good for the long run. Our starters are wearing out while our bench is not getting enough experience.

Absolutely agree. JJ hasn't played these kind of minutes in years. Basically, we've been going with a 7 man rotation. In the playoffs, maybe. But you want something in the tank when you get there.

I agree too. The starters should not be logging these types of minutes until late in the season or playoffs.

Gosh I always kind of hold my breath when the starters come out. But you could have a point, especially when were playing something like 5 games in 7 days.

Please...Nobody is going to get killed playing 40 minutes a game rather than 35...The next player that complains about playing too many minutes is the first player I want traded out of here...

Piatkowski needs more playing time. He's going to be an important player when teams starting using zone defenses more and more against the Rockets to nullify Yao in the paint.

How many 82 game NBA seasons have you played to know that your body wouldn't wear down playing 40+ a game? The season does wear on the players and I would prefer that they have some legs for the final push.

I agree. Otherwise the players are going to run down. Clearly JVG does not have confidence in his bench. Expect moves in the offseason to add players to the bench rotation that he feels comfortable with.

He didn't even bother to do it last night during the 3 OTs.

IF ONLY the minutes are doled differently for the NEXT TWO GAMES, the 3rd and 4th in five nights (including a 3OT in a presumed laugher).

These guys, all NBA players, that is, should be able to play the minutes but reality is there is just so much juice in the legs (juice? bad choice of refeernces, perhaps).

    Yeah.....gin and juice maybe....

If the bench players were better JVG would play them. If the team had been able to build on the 14pt lead they had in the fourth quarter we wouldn't have had to go to three OT's and might have seen the scrubs come into the game.

OT is a crucial period we need our top players playing during the 5 mins.

I don't think anyone is gonna come out and complain about the minutes, but the fact is that there might not be enough juice in the tank come end of the season and playoffs.

Padgett, Griffin, and Pike should really start being in the rotation. Griffin is a great defender that can sink a 10ft once he gets his rythm back, Padgett has yet to dissapoint me with his play, and I think Pike has learned his lesson about making shots, after already sitting half the season, I think anyone would.

This week is the issue. Get through this week with more legs, to help sustain the big minute legs against Tim's Spurs and LBJ's Cavs, plus the week-end games against the best of the Pac Nor'West.

this will be interesting to see what JVG does, historically he normally runs a 8 man rotation at best... at least after a draining game like last night, the next game is a big game that they have to get up for....
