Hey Jeff, just before the game I'm channel surfing and I catch the tail end of this story on Fox News and YOU are being interviewed!!! The strange thing was, I didn't catch the whole thing, so I didn't know what the hell it was all about! It only let my imagination wander! I take it, it was something about getting general health checkups or something, right? How the heck did you end up on the news boy?!
Sadly, Jeff is leaving us to pursue journalism/political endeavors... let's all wish the best to a cool dude.... J.J...
HA HA!!! My partner works in the media department at Baylor College of Medicine. He was doing a story on men who don't like to go to the doctor. He knows my general aversion to doctors and hospitals and asked if he could interview me about it. That's how it made it on the air. He interviewed my wife recently for a story on being a vegetarian at the holidays. Like most good journalists, they look for people around them as examples of what they need in a story. His stories are done by him and edited and the health reporter from the news station (or one of the doctors from Baylor) does the lead-in, etc. Funny thing is that a friend of mine called me to tell me they saw that story on their flight back from Spain! Apparently, Baylor markets those stories out to broadcast news services for distribution and several airlines picked it up as part of their in-flight news broadcasts.
hmm I haven't seen this.... I liked last years interviews with jeff on his mac talking about SOR.com... looks like you have some connnections.... dont happen to know anyone on the admissions board at the baylor college of medicine do you? by the way was this fox26 or the foxnews channel?
I don't think that my image would be able to be displayed on Fox News Network. Don't they have a "liberal cloak" or something?
