Sorry bad comparision...but I was watching the Bulls and Celtics presesaon game, and damn Curry is like....so skinny now. He's like as skinny as Tyson Chandler I didn't recognize him at all.
Guess they are trying to get him in shape...haven't seen any recent pics of him but i am sure we will see him enough in the pre season game here.
Rumor is he reported to camp at 285 which satisfied what the Bulls wanted him to come in at. Was he playing that much above that weight last year? Two eighty five ain't exactly chopsticks - that's a mini-buffet. Maybe he's all muscle now.
Curry impressed me last night too, but unless he emerges as one of the league's premier centers this year he is nowhere near the money he's seeking. He can score, but he's a bad rebounder for his size and for someone with a history of attitude and weight problems the Shawn Kemp potential on his contract would just be too high. The Bulls can keep him. Chicago's in for another long season...
As comparison, Kelvin Cato is listed as 6'11" 275. If Curry is 285, then he really did lose a lot of weight!
