Thanks for posting that. I have had high hopes for him since last year. I think he has the mental acumen and physical prowess to be a consistent to plus player in the league.
i'm anticipating seeing how he does. No blazing speed, but has shown everything else. A knack for getting open which is almost rare with WR overall...I'm starting to think speed is often overrated ( Jacoby, ex.)
Streaks seem to be his strength. And with him picking at Andre's brain, hopefully he can be more than a Torrey Smith for us this year.
Having streaks as your strength is not necessarily a bad thing. If people keep playing you over the top with two deep safeties it opens up other things underneath including the running game. It will also help Jean become open on comeback routes or quick outs. If he can burn bump and run coverage then they will have to move back their corners.
All eyes are on him and Martin now for the improved WR depth. For this season, I'll be ecstatic if one of them is able to step up and become a threat in the slot.

Not Jean. “The kid has really put time in as far as preparing himself,” receivers coach Larry Kirksey said. “He has engulfed himself in the offense. He knows all three positions. His attention to detail is excellent.
He looked really good in the preseason games from what I remember. Hoping for a Victor Cruz-lite but that may be asking a bit much
Looked great last year before the injury. Hoping he can build on the limited field time he's had, and produce.
