You've got to be kidding me. I am browsing their site right now. I am not registered on their site, and probably won't be posting there, but they aren't hiding anything.

In fact some of their fans believe there is a conspiracy to keep them off clutchfans.

They didn't understand it was all about bandwidth, and that after games or other times during peak hours of traffic only contributing members who have donated money to Clutchfans are allowed on, and it isn't based on the team.

Then they felt that after Rockets wins they were allowed to browse, but not after Rockets losses. It was then pointed out that traffic is heavier after Rockets losses, and also that the day of the last Rockets victory the boards were open prior to the game even being played.

Furthermore they are upset at Rocket fans for some good reasons. Some idiots on this board sit here make lame mormon jokes, and that kind of stuff about Jazz fans. There was also the group at the Rockets' game that was chanting "Utah Sucks!" while Deron Williams was hurt. So they have some reason to be angry. Those kinds of moves are classless, and reflect badly not only on the Rockets, but Houston, and on Clutchfans to the extent that they are connected to the board.

They don't realize that many of us aren't like that. Luckily there are some great folks from Clutch over there trying to set the record straight, and doing a good job representing what I like the think are the real Rockets fans.

But they aren't keeping anyone off of their site.

Umm... the Jazz fans were changing "Houston sucks" during the games in Utah...

It's a part of any primetime professional sport. If they can't take that crap, they need to get the sand out of their vagina.

chanting a team sucks is one thing. Chanting that because an opposing player is on the ground hurt is different.

We need to show more class and sportsmanship than that.

I was at that game. A lot of us were chanting Utah sucks because we couldn't believe that they called a foul on Battier when both players were going for the ball. When we realized that Williams could seriously be hurt, the chanting stopped. The Rockets fans even gave him a nice round of applause when he got up.

Cool, thanks for the clarification. I wish one of the Clutchfans on the Jazz board could let them know that. I do remember him getting a round of applause when he got up.

The one post I saw over there that cracked me up was: "So do you think JVG's going to sit all his starters Thursday to rest up for game 7?"

No matter how it was intended, I think it was funny.

    What in the world...

I've had no problems browsing the jazzfanz.com forums. I was even able to register a few days ago and start posting. A few idiots notwithstanding, the majority of posters over there are pretty knowledgeable about basketball. It's interesting to see their perspectives on the series.

While it seems like they'd originally had reservations about Rockets fans going over there and trolling, the Clutchfans "delegation" (i.e. robbie380, DaDakota, Hakeem, roxgirl, and me) has made it as clear as possible that we're not over there to be disrespectful. If there are any Rockets fans trolls over there, I'm pretty sure they're not Clutchfans regulars.

Considering the fact they've allowed us Rockets fans to register and post, I doubt they're "insecure" about anything. For the most part, they like their chances in Game 6 and in this series overall.
