Knicks are currently 1-7 right now, and the Jazz own their draft pick this year. , seriously F*** them.

    Long story really.

Utah gave up Keon Clark and Ben Handlogten

They ended up with Tom Gugliotta and 2 first round picks (one from Phoenix and this one one from New York).

New York got Starbury, and Phoenix got cap relief.

    Nice moves Isaiah?

The Knicks will start playing better in the 2nd half of the season. When other lottery shut it down and tank, the Knicks will have no such incentive and will appear to play better. They'll start beating other bad teams in 'toilet bowl' matchups when those other teams' guys start having phantom injuries. Of course there's still no way they make the playoffs, so the top 3 will still be in play, but unless they do win one of the top 3 it'll be a top 10 spot. Don't underestimate the effects of tanking vs. not tanking.

Have you seen the Knicks play at all? They've got the worst chemistry in the league, they're locked in to finish somewhere in the bottom 5, especially when their draft pick Jordan Hill isn't contributing at all.

The Jazz are bad enough to pick up two lottery picks

I have a feeling that the Jazz will get a franchise PF to replace Boozer with Knicks' pick.

They never fail to have a legit PG/PF combo ever.

That is why they re-signed Paul Milsap.

Milsap is why they want to trade Boozer.

exactly. boozer will probably get traded for a wing player at the deadline.

boozer for rip makes tons of sense for both teams.

Don't look now, but if the playoffs started now,the Jazz would be a lottery team. With a lucky bouncy ping pong ball, They could have 2 of the top 3 picks in the 2010 draft.

    I think I'm gonna barf.

I think there's some raw feelings still with the team and Boozer - he packed his bags early last year expecting a max offer from Detroit, took his option after Detroit decided to split its money (very foolishly), but immediately pressed for a trade to Miami.

Can't imagine he's a favorite in that locker room right now, especially with his 16 ppg.

Have faith - maybe Utah will blow the top 5 pick on a white stiff.

Maybe they'll trade for Joe Alexander. :D

Also, I wonder if they'd trade Deron Williams for Chase Budinger.

they'd want david anderson to be thrown in and the rights to sergio llul.

i think we'd be giving up too many white players, although deron is pretty light skinned. I think i'd take that chance.
