Only thing better than that is a Rockets win. I want to ask the members who watched this game, how did the Thunder take Okur out of the game?
Big surprise. The j*zz sux on the road. They are only good at home where those weird ass mother marrying moronic fans somehow intimidate the refs.
like I said earlier when we played the thunder, they have been playing very competitive of late (outside of the blowout loss to the wolves) they have hung tough with some good teams. Scotty Brooks has them playing hard and they are staying in games they are just lacking the talent and experience to win some of those games. Thanks to former Bruin Westbrook I started watching them more and they are probably the team I like to watch the most now after the Rockets also anyone else think desmond mason bears resemblence to tmac?
i caught portions of the second half of the game. westbrook penetrating was key, it made williams play defense. their defense frustrating okur. with milsap and boozer out most of the scoring load falls on williams and okur they were able to get okur in check. overall the thunder played good defense too Also the thunder kept making their shots and really really out worked them on the boards something like 45-26 or so (didnt look at box score but remember OKC broadcasters saying that) it really boils down to if the guards can get into the lane and force the defense to collapse. durant took advantage of his size over brewer and was aggressive. if westbrook, green and durant can all stay on the team together and they fill in the right veterans around them the Thunder could be a team to be reckoned with in the coming years.
A good night for the Rockets. Three WC playoff contenders lost while Houston is licking its own wounds.
