Apparently he crashed into a pole with his new motorcycle and has leg and pelvic injuries. As of now he's in critical condition. It's on ESPNEWS right now, whenever a link comes up I'll post it.
http://espn.go.com/nba/news/2003/0619/1570639.html I didn't see them say anything about critical condition.Hopefully he'll be ok!
Being in surgery for 3 to 4 hours right after an accident is not good news. That must be a serious injury.
That's exactly what came to my mind. I feel so bad for the guy. First he's kinda half-injured the whole year and doesn't play nearly up to par, and has everyone pressuring him and calling him a bust, etc., and now this. If he really is in critical condition, you never know... his career could be over. I'm not a Bulls or Jay Williams fan, but this still just puts a big, dark cloud over my whole day...
I guarantee you some idiot in the Rockets forum will say "trade francis for him while he's cheap" in seriousness or something asinine in the next few days.
awh hope hes okay, hes a great player. I was really hoping the Rockets could land him in a trade (see sig) but now I just hope hes okay. Good luck Jay
Since his value is so low now... I say Titto Maddox and Moochie Norris for Jay William (if he could still play next season, or the one after) -G'day-
I have said since Day one that Jay will be a bust just like Bobby Hurley, but I didnt mean for him to get hurt.
Please... this is not a situation to make fun of. I really wish the injury is not too serious and won't affect Jay Williams' life and basketball career for that matter too. No one wants that to happen to anybody.
well... your a little to late.. someone already did.. everybody wants to be sarcastic sometimes.. even if its so in the bad time and the bad place to do it.. *sighs*...
A young man being seriously hurt in a motorcycle accident isn't exactly fodder for jokes, ya'll. I hope he's OK, that sucks for Jay, and sucks, too, for the Bulls organization. Hope it's not serious.
