I can't believe i'm saying this, but I actually missed Jay Leno. The tonight show really has not been the same. I also am predicting that Jay's new show will be the top rated late night show almost immediately.
It hasn't been the same. IT's actually been funny much of the time. Jay's show may be a top rated show, but unless he all of a sudden becomes funny I won't be watching. I understand that a lot of people like him as the host, but those are the same people that put American Idol, or Dancing with the Stars as top rated shows.
You seem to be rating talk show hosts based solely on which one you find the most funny. I don't find Jay funny, but he is still miles better as a talk show host "presence" as Conan will ever be. Neither Conan or Jay are very fuuny to me, but Jay has a lot better interview style.
I looked up the word unfunny in the dictionary and found a picture of Jay Leno. He is a terrible comedian and an even worse interviewer.
You know more than me, you actually know this program was on. I am watching football. Face it, Conan is not that funny. The only talk show host I consistently laugh at these days is Craig Ferguson.
Conan is outstanding at using humor to avoid those little awkward moments during interviews. Leno is the master of creating those little awkward moments. Conan is a funny person. Leno is not a funny person.
Still on your anti-MTV rant I see. For the record I have spent more hours on E! (unwillingly) Than MTV (willingly). Which really isn't saying anything.
Wow, you are really reeeeeeachhhhhhing to show me that you disagree with the sentiment of this thread.
Conan is terrible as the Tonight Show host. I used to watch the tonight show a lot, but since Conan arrived not at all. Leno had the best features, like headlines, jay-walking, or the other things like we found it on ebay or things at the 99 cent store.
