He was driving a Land Rover. Speeding excessively but not quite the same thing. Not that big of a deal as long as he doesn't start racing habitually. Non-story.

Jay Williams crashed his motorcycle a few blocks from one of my old apartments, in front of a house I've walked past dozens of times go to and from bus stops and around the neighborhood. Anyone who would have been driving a motorcycle more than 15-20 miles an hour at that exact spot was an absolute maniac. I mean that. He obviously didn't know how to drive that thing.

This doesn't excuse what Rose did, but geez ...

Funny you mention that. That's essentially the exact same story for me, my old apartment and where Ben Roethlisberger took that spill after winning the Superbowl. I walked past that location the day after it happened and still saw the blood stained concrete.

Pretty much the same story with Big Ben. Dangerous intersection located around a bend. Definitely not the kind of place you want to be recklessly driving.

A hundred + up on the Interstate late at night when no other cars are out is hardly as dangerous as a motorcycle in a neighborhood.

I read a story in the paper that said most deadly accidents occur 2-3 am on Saturday and Sunday morning. I don't know remember the statistics for Tuesday mornings, or if it was mentioned.

Ok, I found it. Weekdays are safest from 12-3am, since he was driving on a Tuesday. It's safer, I guess. It's quite hard to switch lanes in time, if you hit the peak of an incline and see a deer, christmas tree, or a machine in the way. The christmas tree and machine in the middle of the road happened to me, but we switched lanes in time.
