    From <a href="http://www.nydailynews.com/today/Metro_Sports/Basketball/a-110968.asp" target="_blank">Mitch Lawrence's New York Daily New column</a>:

Jason Richardson of Michigan State, an athletic two-guard drawing comparisons to Vince Carter, is rising on everyone's draft list. He could turn into a top-five pick by draft day.

It appears he's demostrating a consistent jumper. That's good news because the higher he rises, he pushes a player the Rockets might be interested in lower where the Rockets have a grerater chance to get at him.

Everyone except ESPN said he was quite possibly a top 5 pick before he even declared. He's the only shooting guard worth spending a lottery pick on, he's as athletic as possible, has shown steady improvement in all categories and performed well when matched up against NBA "Dream" teamers.
