Blazers beat writer Jason Quick says

    * Blazers in talks with Hornets talking several different scenarios/packages as late as Thursday they had dialogue. This weekend Cho had meeting with Allen to discuss strategy/plan. It does not look like a CP3 deal will happen, Hornets not willing to trade him right now. Source kept abreast as he has players involved in deal (player agent?).

    * "In the next 24 to 48 hours there will be drama on the Blazers's front" involving a player. It has nothing to do with CP3.

    My guess:

    Oden or Aldridge = GONE.

The host asked Quick about Rudy and he replied that he's not going to go there.

Drama would seem more, well, dramatic than Rudy leaving.

    This is interesting..

Thinks Blazers looking to land starting PG, likely have to deal Miller's expiring contract to do so.

Of all the teams presenting an offer to Hornets. New Orleans confided to source they liked Portland's package the most.

    I took a listen...

all sorts of thoughts ran in my head. Something's making me think it has something to do with Oden or Rudy.

I'll bet it's Oden. Something tells me they're either giving up on him because of his injuries, or.......he's fooling around with drugs, or.....they're gonna trade him while he has some value.

I will gladly take Przy or Camby or Aldridge but not him.

Fair enough, I would roll the dice with him before Camby or Billa. I love his potential and court production when he is healthy. Lamarcus would be a no brainer of course...

Maybe a deal with Oden or Aldridge for Collison as the main pieces

It's Fernandez. Rudy is talking to the Spanish press.

well if its Rudy, wonder who's in on the trade and what will the blazers get back...

Rumors have it that Boston and New York are trying to get him. we'll see soon enough. if it's just fernadez that's getting dealt, I wouldn't put that as ''drama'' like Quick said.

I bet it's Rudy, which is really no big deal at all.

The Rudy story has already been out there for some weeks. It's something else. Either Roy is going to be demanding an upgrade or a trade to a contender or something is up with Oden.

It could also be Bayless. There was a rumored trade demand from him early last season.

According to 82 games Bayless played more minutes at SG than PG. Just looking at the starters's minutes and Wesley mins avg. It would appear Bayless is headed for a reduced role. Especially if Roy plays some mins at PG to fit in Matthews.
