Since I don't need the power of Photoshop, I chose to go with Paint Shop Pro awhile back. I just got an email explaining that Jasc was purchased by Corel. You may or may not find that interesting, but I at least thought I'd mention it. Have a nice day. www.jasc.com
I recognize that this isn't exactly exciting news. However, I'd want to know about it, and I thought maybe someone else would as well. And I was hoping that saying, "You may or may not be interested in this," would keep people from posting things like this. I was obviously wrong. But I still hope you have a good day.
thanks TraJ. good info. and synergy... why the hell did you click on this thread if you didn't care? the thread title is pretty concise and to the point.
Man, Otter Pops used to be my favorites. How can you not like fruit ice pops that are mascotted by otters dressed up in stereotypically ethnic costumes. Brilliant! I wonder what happened to them, because I haven't seen them at the supermarket in a loooooooooooooooong time.
I was a user of Paint Shop Pro since version 2. I still use the trial version whenever it is fast conversion (BATCH convert PSD to JPG, etc.), or simple tools as in "define transparent color in a GIF"... Hopefully they won't change the name. That's like Microsoft buying out Netscape? Maybe.
