If Houston believes that Jefferies can be a SF, there's a pretty good chance that he's available at #15.

A potential front line of Griffin, Ming and Jefferies would be interesting. You might have to go to predominantly zone, but there's some shotblocking and rebounding potential there. Plus, it would give us 5 guys in the starting lineup that can shoot the ball. That lineup might even force Shaq to leave the lane and try to guard somebody away from the basket.

Heh, why draft Jeffries when you have Terence Morris?

I'm not against drafting a 3, but honestly what does Jefferies do signifigantly better than Morris? Their games are extremely similar, and Morris has been here a year. Of all the possible Small forwards to pick he seems to be the odd one out.

Jefferies shoots the ball better than Morris and he handles the ball alot better.

Is he gonna be there to watch? I thought those workouts are private? ;) I'm not a big fan of his game and hope he isn't what we end up with.

But Morris is MUCH stronger and can play down low. If CD can't trade up from #15, I would most definately prefer Nachbar over Jeffires.

Jefferies does shoot the 3 ball a little better than Morris, but I'd dispute the ball handling ability.

I'd also argue that Morris is stronger and more of a complete player. Between the 2 it's pretty much a wash, if you're gonna pick a SF though at least pick someone with a greater upside than someone we already have.

I could see the Rockets selecting Nachbar. Best case for us is that sombody takes Rush and Marcus in the top 14. That would pretty much guarentee that Nachbar or Jefferies is there at 15. I wonder what the Rockets would do if Stoudamire fell to 15.

The problem with Morris is that he's ok at most things, but he not great at anything. There's a reason that Morris was a second round pick and Jeffries will go near the end of the lottery. Morris can become a solid role player, but I don't think that he's our SF of the future.

Great....Jeffries,Griffin,and Yao...we could apply for the Charmin-Squeezably Soft Frontcourt award.

Hopefully E-Griff will develop some sort of post-up game, Yao puts on some weight...and Jeffries is avoided like the plague on draft day.

 Jeffries' post game is well developed...yes he's a stick, but he's a lot better than Morris with his back to the basket. I think Morris is a better athlete, though.

If we take Yao Ming #1, then bringing in 3's who might slip to #15 is time well spent.

ESPN News' mock draft had Qyntel Woods going 13th last night...any word on why he is slipping? Is it possible that he would be there at 14???

Work ethic is awful, can't play D, and doesn't WANT to play D. is jumper needs a solid 2 years to develop, but it's very attainable. Great passing skills but somewhat selfish. Oh, also because of Kedrick Brown.

I'd be tempted BIG time to pick Woods up anywhere above 8. KT, 2nd round pick, #15 for #8 maybe? If we can let him learn from the bench, then no matter who the personnel, take him.

If we want him to help us win, forget it.
