Sorry, no link available but NFL Network reported that Vikings DE Jared Allen was fined $50,000 for two below the knee hits on Schaub. Even though we lost our QB at least it's a little redemption he's lighter in the wallet.
^ 50k won't bring Schaub back. A-hole deserves to be suspended games, in my humble opinion... yes, I said a-hole.
I don't know how much lighter he is with that 70 million contract he just signed. But still 50k is still a big hit.

The guy has like the third highest salaray in the league, and I saw him in the paper whining about how if Obama gets elected(pre-election) than his paycheck would "like, be cut in half." 50k means nothing to him...
Shouldnt multiple offenses in 1 game result in a firmer punishment than finex2? Theres zero tolerance for helmet to helmet hits, so multiple shots below the knee should result in suspension too. Williams got suspended after his 3rd horse collar last year, all from separate games.
Maybe if our offensive line would do their f***ing jobs and actually stand up for their QB, this kinda stuff wouldn't happen. Haynesworth, Drayton Florence, and Allen have all had their fair share of cheap shots on our QB, and not ONE person has ever gotten in their face and said anything. I'm sick of this. A fine isn't gonna do ****. I want redemption.
I took the quote to mean that whatever we're paying him for those 4 weeks that should be the fine. Even though it's going to the NFL and not us.
that is my point, unless he is only being paid 50K for the 4 games he is gone then the punishment is crap.
