So that will be the first matchup where Boki gets to take out his anger out on JVG and play his heart out and actually show up and say i told you so or just sit down and say nothing for the rest of the season. Wonder how it is going to go down for that game? I figure by that time and based on the minutes he got in his first game in NO that he will be in a groove by then or be completly buried at the end of the bench by then. Will be interesting and i bet most of us will be watching it.
One more reason JVG should play Mutombo with Yao: Deke: Come here pesky little guard trying to steal the ball from my Center, I have a gift for you! Opposing guard: But it's not my birthday and Christmas is over! Deke: It is OK, I am still in the giving mood. Thin of it as an early Valentine's Day greeting.
Hey, one great benefit of the Nachbar trade? That means we get to see more Nachbar threads and less Eddie Griffin threads! Maybe we need to start a new forum, a repository of threads to Eddie Griffin, Nachbar, Posey, KT...or even guys we "should" have had like Rashard Lewis and Richard Jefferson. We can see what we are missing or not missing. I am joking....but perhaps half way serious
Let's hope this stellar performance doesn't set the bar too high. I'd hate for Hornets fans to expect this kind of superhuman effort every night.
No wonder they were willing to let the deal go without JJ. 2 pts 3 rebounds 2 ast 0 blocks 0 TO David Wesley's stats in 24 minutes.
Those are pretty decent stats for a debut. I'm really glad Boki will get the chance to play, I wish it was with us though.
Ya but 0 TO's!!! Wow, NO lost a GREAT player if he doesn't turn the ball over in 24 min!! PS: NBA.com has Nachbar having 1 TO.
Many of you are forgetting the one key stat that all of us are after from that 30 minutes of playing. 0 FOULS
Go and review the game for yourself - Boki was guarding no one. He looked like he was standing in cement. No wonder Rudy couldn't stand his behind. Yeah Charles Backley also got called for few fouls as well in his career for his great defensive prowess if my memory serves me right.
