I'm watching the Toronto-Golden State game on league pass right now, and this guy is an amazing player. He's all over the place making plays on both ends of the floor.
I watched almost the entire 2nd half. Agree with you. When he's on the court, good things happen for the Raptors. Now I'm gonna change the subject: Somebody tell me why the Raptors aren't the softest team in the league. GS was very unenergetic and looked like they wanted to be put out of their misery. BD was building a brick mansion and the Warriors acted like they wanted the game to end because they completely stopped trying to play defense or offense. Even so, the biggest lead the Raptors got was 7 points. Therefore, despite the lazy Warriors missing (what seemed like) 30 straight 3 pointers, it was a game until late in the 4th quarter when BD took over and the Warriors finally hit a couple of shots. The Raptors don't have a chance to make the Finals until that team matures. Make no mistake, the talent is there but the heart is not. ChrisBosh, your comments are welcomed.
What happened to Bargnani? Is he in Mitchell's doghouse? He went from starting to playing around 10-15 mins a game.

Jamario Moon has been playing very well. He's athletic, hustles, and can make the mid-range shot. I don't think he'd become a star in this league, but he can certainly be a starter for years to come, given his relatively young age of 27. The Raptors' poor performance has to do with the below-par play of Chris Bosh. As the number one option, Bosh needs to dominate the ball. Getting 12 shots in 33 minutes against Golden State is not acceptable. Granted, he hasn't been shooting the ball well all year but having him take it to the basket on Harrington would have put pressure on Golden State defensively. Bargnani has come off the bench because he's too weak of a rebounder and not enough of a big man to complement Chris Bosh. You need a big guy who can hustle down low to get you the offensive rebounds when half of Bosh's shots are coming from mid-range.
I've seen a few Raptor games already and Jamario Moon is an amazing athlete and a great all-around player. He's going to have more and more minutes if he continues to play that way.

Once again, the Raptors demonstrate they are tissue paper soft. After leading 49-25 while the Mavs were sleep-walking, they have played dead since. They got murdered in the 3rd quarter 38-17. In an incredible display, Shirk hit four straight 3 pointers in about 90 seconds to close out the quarter. The Raptors have no heart.
I agree that the Raps are fairly soft. One of the complaints from fans is that we're too nice and miss having an Oakley like presence. Bosh likely won't grow into, either, and no one else on the roster - short of TJ Ford - is really an aggressive sorta player, or plays enough to have the credibility to pull it off. Bargnani may be soft also, but dudes got an attitude and can have ice in his veins when hitting dagger shots or late game free throws. I think if he was to establish himself in any way as a frontcourt player down the road, he'd maybe be the guy that others look to for strength... though still more silent, like Bosh. But back to the thread topic... Jamario Moon is quickly becoming a fan fave, and fave of the coaching staff also. He busts his butt and whatever he does is completely within the flow of the game. He never tries to do too much and while he has the occasional lapse (bad foul, mistimed jump for pass) - he is easily the most versatile defensive player since a prime Doug Christie and really reminds me of a young Tracy McGrady in terms of hops, blocks, etc. He was a key part of today's win over the Bulls and posted 15 points (7-12), 9 rebounds, 6 blocks and 3 steals. Kid makes $450k and will probably earn himself the MLE next year if he keeps it up.
