    does it matter? We have too many players on the team as it is, we're not in search of castoffs from other teams. We're trying to stay below the luxury tax level - cutting a player with a guaranteed contract so we can pick up another doesn't make a lot of sense.

    We need to love the one we brought to the dance. Besides, having Butler will serve us better than splitting hairs over Sampson.

    I'd rather have Butler than any of Dallas's trash. Picking him up would make us look weaker than Gaylas.. Plus he sucks.

    Jackie rather,he's 22,very young and has size and potential to be a good C.
    If Sampson was good,Mavs would kept him and didn't Morey tell that signing and adding new players through trades are over!?

    No. 99.9% of us never start a thread just because some random scrub got waved. Unfortunately, that still leaves enough idiots that it happens every single time a random scrub gets waived.
