http://www.suntimes.com/output/bulls/cst-spt-bull091.html He's been down this season but has alot of potential.
I do this deal at the end of the season if we don't make the playoffs: Houston trades: SF Bostjan Nachbar (3.3 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 0.7 apg in 11.5 minutes) SG Cuttino Mobley (15.6 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 3.0 apg in 39.4 minutes) Houston receives: SG Jamal Crawford (16.7 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 5.5 apg in 34.8 minutes) PF Marcus Fizer (6.5 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 0.8 apg in 14.2 minutes) Change in team outlook: +4.3 ppg, +1.5 rpg, and +2.6 apg. Chicago trades: SG Jamal Crawford (16.7 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 5.5 apg in 34.8 minutes) PF Marcus Fizer (6.5 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 0.8 apg in 14.2 minutes) Chicago receives: SF Bostjan Nachbar (3.3 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 0.7 apg in 22 games) SG Cuttino Mobley (15.6 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 3.0 apg in 34 games) Change in team outlook: -4.3 ppg, -1.5 rpg, and -2.6 apg. TRADE ACCEPTED Then I would try to trade MO. Maybe to NYK for Kurt Thomas
Man after watching the Knicks game, Kurt Thomas doesn't look anything like I see Rocket fans on this board hyping him to be. I understand it was a bad game, but the guy couldn't hit the outside jumper with consistency. He's too damn small just like MoT, but atleast MoT appears to have more of an offensive game then KT. I dunno KT's contract but if it's better than MoT's then I'd consider it, otherwise as far as talent goes, it's no contest.
Crawford will be a RFA at the end of the season so whoever trades for him will need to pay some money to resign him. It's the same situation with James Posey last year and Crawford likely will get more money than Posey did. The Rockets just dont have the cap room to sign another 6-7 mil per year contract. So realistically we shouldnt trade for Jamal Crawford Unless we can shed a big contract (Cato, MoTay) with the trade.
Would would anyone want Crawford? He's probably as much of a ballhog as Francis and was constantly fighting with Jay Williams last season.
