Seems like maybe worth a promotion to AAA for a few starts to maybe have ready in July if we need an arm... 22 years old 3rd round pick 2023 3-2 1.98 ERA 50 IP 53 Ks 17 walks 0.92 WHIP Only one start given up more than 2 runs. Oswalt was same age and same level. He had a higher ERA and WHIP than this kid. Roy made 5 starts in AAA before he was ready. While I would say he hasn't pitched as many innings as Roy, he also pitched college ball while Roy was in the bus leagues... If this kid is the kind of performance Dana's picks lead to, our system might be ok soon...
I think Bloss is probably someone that other teams are asking for in any deals Brown tries to make to improve this team.
I'm not advocating trading him (though I would in the right deal). Just pointing out that his stock is up.
