I noticed a couple of people using it here.

Half the girls I know now use this in their e-mail, txt, or Facebook messages.

Spanish. Two of my friends use it, one's from Mexico, the other from Ecuador. Between them and their hispanic/spanish friends, everybody uses it.

h is silent in spanish so if it was hahahe it would sound like a a a or aaaaa... thus replace the h with a j.....

or if you're typing fast and mistype. h and j are right next to each other.

    Latin and guilty.

I also use the Italian ciao as opposed to Latin Chau in texts and emails. Thus conveying, in a subtle manner, my iternational badass status.

The majority of women seem impressed by this. Paticularly the ones who have passports with multiple stamps.

    The others.... not so much.

I've never dated a woman without a passport.

You can separate the guy from the port, but you can never separate the porteño from the guy, huh?

    ;)

Off topic: is there a good empanaderia in Houston/Austin? I have cravings & haven't gotten around to making some at home.

That's clearly Swedish. What they're trying say is "yes" multiple times.

Marina's on Westhiemer and Wilcrest behind Becks Prime. It's an Argentine bistro. Best empanadas in Houston. They're baked, unlike the Cuban and Colombian type. They run about $2 a piece. Almost like being in Buenos AIres.

You can't understand how happy this makes me. My folks live about 3 minutes from there & I noticed it for the first time the other day, didn't have time to stop in.

    Tienen carne picante?

p.s. I didn't forget your havanna alfajor...unfortunately I made the mistake of opening the box in front of a housefull of austin stoners...went outside, got distracted, and 30 minutes later, all gone. Do they sell them here in the states? Miami maybe?

They sell them at Marinas but not the brand I like. They have lunch specials during the weekdays. Stuff like Sanwich de Milanesa or Choripan with fries.
The deserts are amazing. I cant get enough of the Mil Ojas.

jajaja is the result of people accidently hitting j instead of h.

people started doing it intentionally and now it's normal i guess.
