I was in section 115 right next to the tunnel where the players park and I looked up and saw Ja Rule arrive with Irv Gotti (owner of Murder Inc Records) and Ashanti. I think they were Cuttino's guest because he showed them where their seats were during pregame warm-ups. If you were there and saw them please respond.
Ashanti was in town because of the 97.9 concert thing w/ Nelly and other artists. They just probably decided to catch a game while they were in town.
Ja Rule & Ashanti were at the Rox Game!! they were courtside, about 10 seats down from hakeem...it was crazy...i dunno if they showed him on tv tho...
I saw them on t.v. . Irv Gotti was probably there to see the DA Franchise since he played for the Murda Inc team in the EBC tournament. Or maybe for Da Dreams retirement.
Yea I saw them. Irv Gotti was really into the game especially when Eddie was shooting. I saw Ja shaking Dream and Clyde's hand when we was going to the restroom.
I saw Irv on T.V cheering in the front row, that is the perfect example of how fans should be, rabid!!! And he's not even from Houston!!
That's so funny. My girlfriend and I were sitting in 239 row T, that's right, nosebleed. It's funny because we saw those guys, but couldn't make out who they were. We saw their clothes and jewlery and joked that they must be some rappers. Too cool.
Heh heh...that's funny! That reminds me of that comment where you say "She's no rocket scientist." Then you later find out she works for NASA, or something.
yeah i couldn't tell who that was at first but i thought it must be a relative of his or something because he was preactically jumping on the court every rocket's bucket.
Ja Rule was actin' a fool everytime Cuttino did anything. He was wearing those baggy pants that he kept having to pull up as he jumped around. He was also wearing a giant cross necklace. Looked like a thug priest.
When Ashanti walked through the tunnel between section 114 and 115 it seemed like every man just stopped (including me) She looks even better in person and she took pictures with a bunch of people and signed a ton of autographs.
Jeff Bagwell and his wife were there as well. They came walking up the aisle where rockHEAD and I were sitting. The funny thing is that we were looking at his wife so intently that we almost didn't notice Jeff with her. She is one really hot looking woman. No pics, but I have the "rockHEAD eyewitnessed" verification!
Wow. I saw a dark-colored Lexus with "Ja Rule" plates on it heading in the general direction of Compaq Center. And, to think, my cousin called me an idiot for actually thinking it was him.
Ja Rule might have a house here in Houston. Did he have Texas plates? The Rockets are 1-0 when he is at the game so maybe he should come more often. Cuttino had his own little fan club when Ja Rule and his crew arrived. Cuttino crossed Gilbert Arenas and missed the shot but that whole section stood up after he shook him. I wish all Rocket fans were hyper like that at the game.
i went to the game last night... man, ja and his crew were having a good time at the game... they were the only ones sitting courtside that were jumping and yelling, acting fools for our team. i never knew they were such rocket fans!!
Man I was wondering who those guys getting all wild were. I was like how come more people who sit front row do that. They looked so small on TV that I thought it was just some bald guys having a good time. If they're Rockets fans they hey, even better. Maybe they could show people up front how to have fun at games.
