I am confused here. I have heard he cancelled his workout with the Rockets completely. Then I hear it was put back until later this week. Which is true? I think the first one is correct but maybe I don't know. It is awfully quiet around here though. It sure would be nice to hear from the big guys around here soon.

I don't put too much stock into all this noise that Goldberg is there in China working out a deal - the Front Office put out a barrage of press releases about the status of re-signing Hakeem last summer too. I would not be surprised at all if the plan has been to trade the #1 for vet all along.

That would definitely suprise me a bit.
If they traded the pick it would piss of alot of people in Houston. I don't think thats what the Rockets need to be doing right now, given their poor attendance.

I don't think the Rockets are trying to trick anybody. It would be suicide for Rudy and CD to make a bunch of fans upset over this after all but assuring we take Ming.

Williams cancelled the workout because his agent told him the Rockets haven't given him any indication they would draft him.

The Rockets pr said they would try to reschedule. I haven't heard a rescheduled date as of yet. The Rockets are only thinking Ming.
