According to his agent, Bill Duffy, it would not be "prudent" for Williams to work out given the Rockets' interest in Yao Ming. He said they would re-consider if the situation changes.
I can't say I'm too surprised at this. He's gotta be doing a ton of workouts and it's pretty obvious he can't help our team out any. Ming is our man, everyone knows it.
I listened to Jay Williams agent and it appeared more like the Rockets did not even want him to come at all. Jay is not dissing the Rockets at all, the Rockets management is the one who is not interested.
What? No Jay Williams bashing yet? Where's the thread 'Williams: ...Lean towards drafting Yao and I'm out here' I can't believe so many people aren't calling him a spoiled, cocky, whatever other names they've called Cat and Steve.
