    Knicks is keeping JR, unless they don't want to be in the playoff next year. While JR may has a low basketball IQ, but he is the only other scorer beside Melo.

    Knicks only have Early Bird Rights on JR Smith, so they can only offer him a contract starting at around $5.8MM.

    I just can't see him playing anywhere else. NY suits his lifestyle and personality.

    I wouldn't want him on my team, not sure if others think like me though.

    This could get interesting, if he hadn't played so badly after the elbowing, this would be a lot easier. But coming off a 6th man of the year season, I'm sure he's asking for way too much from the Knicks who are luxury taxed to hell.

    Feel like some bad team is going to overpay him and then he'll sulk the rest of his contract out. Lose-lose for all parties.

    The craziest thing would be if the Nets pick him up because their owner hates money and wants to win and needs some bench players to do it. That would be fun.
