He picked Zora. The "twist" was that Fox cut them a one million dollar check to split between themselves. The show had its moments, but the twist was disappointing.

My favorite moment was Sara explaing to Melissa about the BJ she gave Evan in the woods when she thought the cameras wouldn't catch her. Classic.

    It sucked.

FOX stretches it out for 2 hours. The first hour was nothing but filler. God I've never seen so MANY commercial breaks in a television program. Hell they stopped for commercials every 5-7 ****ing minutes!!!!

And the twist at the end? Gimme a break. Who didn't see that stupid crap coming?

And to top it off, they're stretching it out to next week, with an "Aftermath" episode???? I for one will not support this blatant explotation of the American viewing public any longer. I will only be watching the Michael Jackson "Other side of the Bashir Interview" show! ;)

Oh, and dammit I have to watch "24" on FOX as well. Oh crap!

probably. then at the end of the show FOX will throw in a twist and promote "Bashir strikes back at Jackson's criticisms on Bashir's intial interview", next week on FOX!

    It never ends!

I was somewhat disappointed in the ending also. I was hoping for more doom and gloom and unhappiness than what transpired. I wanted to see Evan get punched or somebody crying. The whole fairy tale ending was kinda sappy.

you guys forgot to mention that before they were given the mil to split between themselves, zora had to actually show that she still cared for evan (allegedly) despite his revelation. she did this by choosing to show up at the end.

would evan have gotten the mil all for himself if she woudln't have shown up?

and that bondage b*tch and her b*tch girlfriend at the end were really annoying. hopefully in the aftermath show they show their reactions after finding out they missed out on half a mil for being the gold diggin pigeon ho'z that they are.

Don't know. The check did have both of their names on it, so maybe not. For all I know, the show is rigged. It's not like she wasn't gonna show up. She knows she would have looked like a b****.

My wife and I loved it, true love won out in the end....and the money grubbing women got the boot.

I am happy for both of them, and I loved the Butler, he made the show.

I also liked how Heidi tried to make herself out to be a nice person...NO REALLY....LOL...what a troll she is...

The unchosen ones were unbelievably bitter about the whole ordeal. Hilarious.

You went to the game? Are you in town? Watching the Lakers today at Aussies or Fox and Hound?

'Joe' sums it up: Evan, Zora and $1 million

    By Robert Bianco, USA TODAY

Evan and Zora may not have found love on Joe Millionaire, but they did find money.

As fans expected, Evan Marriott picked Zora over Sarah in Monday's extended finale of Fox's hit reality show, Joe Millionaire. After he told Zora he had lied to her about having $50 million and she told him she forgave him, and was actually happy that he didn't have the money, Joe revealed its final, long-promised twist. They were given a $1 million check in both their names, presented on a silver platter by the butler.

That makes them millionaires — if they stay together. Next week in a special detailing the show's aftermath, viewers find out if they did.

After more than an hour of recap Monday, Evan finally broke the news to Zora, telling her flatly, "I've chosen you." (Her response: "Are you serious?") He then owned up to the show's central ruse: "I don't have $50 million. I don't have $50,000. I'm sorry I lied to you." He asked an enigmatically calm Zora to give him her answer later that evening, then went to break the news to Sarah.

Though he said his time with her had been "really neat," he told Sarah she was not his pick, saying later that he feared she was more into Joe Millionaire than Evan Marriott. She was then reunited with the already rejected Melissa, and they had a laugh at Evan's expense, with Sarah calling him a "big loser without any money."

So, did Evan make the right choice? "Definitely," says Shannon Stewart, 34, of Norcross, Ga. "I have been a Zora fan since Day One." The pick didn't surprise her, but the twist with the money did.

Chris Johnson, 28, of Chillicothe, Ohio, had been a Melissa fan, but he switched to Zora. "This was kind of the ending I was hoping for. I wanted Zora, and I was kind of hoping the end would be them getting money themselves."

The two-hour special was the climax of a surprisingly successful run for Joe, which has averaged 20 million viewers since its Jan. 6 premiere. With much of the Northeast snowbound, Fox was hoping to top last week's 24 million peak, though the show did face stiffer-than-usual competition from NBC's two-hour Michael Jackson special and a repeat of ABC's interview with Jackson.

I`m glad he picked Zora. After Sarah was told she wasnt chosen her true side really became apparent as she talked to her friend that had come to help her leave. I`m still trying to figure out what she was saying and mimicking with her mouth as she was talking under her breath to her friend in the bedroom......what, she didnt think the camera was there ;)

This was the only episode I saw of the show -- I wanted to know who was going to be picked, and since I hadn't seen any others, the beginning filler was great. Damn, there were a lot of commercials though.

I thought he was gonna pick the blond chick. It just seemed to me that he was more comfortable with her and everything, but I agree that she wasn't so into him, but into the character. Zora, on the other hand, was the polar opposite. She is definitely wife-material. Just such a good, genuine person -- If I ever get married, I hope my wife is like Zora. Of the small amount of the show I saw, she was BY FAR the best choice by him.
