It's up to the Rockets and the Wolves to keep the Lakers out

    Lakers are 4 games out of the 8th play-off spot. Rockets have the 8th spot... and the Wolves are barely ahead of the rockets...

    With the way the Rockets have been playing lately... I'd be a little worried about the Lakers sneaking into the play-offs by knocking either the Rockets or the Wolves out...

    personally I'm hoping the Warriors beat out the Lakers and the Wolves to make the play-offs...

    I just wanted to point out.. that the Rockets are playing not just to make the play-offs.. but now they are playing to keep the Lakers out...

    We are only a few games behind Minnesota. Our losing streak can't go on forever with Memphis and Chicago next. Los Angeles is still below .500....and Golden State just beat the Lakers and the New Jersey Nets. They are doing very good. Seattle might start a run too.......let's hope the Rockets kick the Timberwolves out. Then the Lakers can have the 8th spot. Or... drop out of the playoffs in fear of playing the Mavericks and Kings...and get Elton Brand and get ready for next year...............:mad: :eek: :confused:

    Golden State just beat Utah as well......
    4 games behind us now, they just passed up the Lakers:confused:

    yeah.. it is up to the lakers...

    but the way they've been playing.. i'd rather not help them out... by having the 7th and 8th teams start stinking it up.

    i would love to see the lakers miss the play-offs.. teach those smug SOB's a thing or two about humility

    Well at least now the Jazz, Wolves, Suns, and us all have a solid 18 losses... but everyone else has exactly 2 more wins than us.

    For the time being, we are OUT of playoff position. The West is a nasty place to be. I hope this isn't 2000-01 all over again... :(

    COME ON ROCKETS! GET BACK IN THE TOP 4!!!

    Right now the Rockets are 23-18 and the Lakers are 19-23. If we go 23-18 in the second half (and I think we will do better) the Lakers would have to go 28 and 12. Thats not that easy and hopefully we can do better then 23-18 anyways.

    things are not looking good...

    lucky the fakers are sucking too... but if the rockets don't turn it around soon.. they are going to lose the 8th spot to the warriors
