Voted 5 because I'm a realist, and the odds say that's the pick we're most likely to land.

Hope I'm wrong and we land #1 or #2.

    2021: 2
    2022: 3
    2023: 4?

Are we all still in agreement Victor is going to San Antonio? ;)
    Where is Victor going?
Any surprises? (Portland? Indiana? Washington? Utah? Dallas? Chicago? New Orleans?)

    Pray for Victor!

I would honestly be happy with any of the top 3.

I'm guessing 4 just so we can say it could have been worse but still being nowhere near good enough.

I'm not disagreeing with you but why are our odds best to land on 5th? We tied for the 2nd worst record in the league.

Just how the league set it up to discourage tanking. Why that specific number, I don't know, but they didn't want teams to have too good of a chance at picking #1 by losing intentionally. Second worst record gets these odds:

    27.8% chance of picking fifth
    20.0% chance of picking sixth
    14.0% chance of picking first
    13.4% chance of picking second
    12.7% chance of picking third
    12.0% chance of picking fourth

Orlando got the #1 pick the first three mock simulations I did.

I will laugh if that happens.

Detroit has a good chance at the 5th pick as they cannot drop past the 5th pick.

I said 3 and we got #2 Jalen Green
I said 2 and we got #3 Jabari Smith
    I'm saying 3 again......

    #1 Portland Wembanyama
    #2 San Antonio Scoot Henderson
    #3 Houston Brandon Miller

You get to see the three headed prong attack take it to Scoot Henderson
    Harden-Green-KPj

Moving Green to rest and at times having:
    Harden-KPj-Brandon Miller.....just like a sliding tile puzzle

Historically speaking, the odds are that one team jumps into the top 3. I am counting on us picking 3rd.

1 because I believe it’s rigged and Houston is the best market for Wemby.

I picked 4 because the odds still slightly favor the Rockets picking in the top 4, but they were also very lucky the last two drafts.

But I don't put any stock in pre-lottery predictions either. The odds are the odds, and we'll all find out tonight.
