simple, the more chuck plays the worse he looks individually, but the more we win...play him, he helps us function well

He's saying that Chuck does nothing for his individual stats but makes us excel as a team because of his hustle, rebounding and most importantly defense.

Same stupid theory as "we play better when TMac is out". Chuck minutes are going to be less and less and Landry will continue to get more and more.

So I guess Chuck is the new Mr. Intangibles, replacing Shane.

On a serious note, I completely disagree. Starting Chuck is OK, but Scola and (maybe) Landry need more time.

It's time to play Landry more. Landry can rebound and finish around the basket. Landry's shooting has been perfect for three games - 7/7, 1/1, & 2/2.

I am officially a certified LOF - Landry's only fan.

Chuck Hayes does not really do a whole lot in the stat sheets, but he does hustle and play good defense. He is undersized so that can be problematic against big power fowards.
Last year Chuck Hayes and Battier played hard and hustled and was the key to the defense. This is all good when you under Van Gundy.

RA is an offensive coach, so Hayes will see less minutes because he is not much of a scorer.
If Hayes is not on the floor, we need a player with a similar heart, who will hustle and throw his body to the ground if he has to.

Gotta find a way to give Landry more minutes. In 5 min of play tonight he had 4 pts and 4 rebounds. The most athletic guy on our team and highest PER player rides the pine.

People were complaining that his posts were borderline insane due to his wishful thinking and overabundance of optimism. People accused him of being psychotic and not fully there mentally. His posts were two or three sentences long which really didn't convey much other than to express his predictions of future victories despite awful losses.

A few people called him out saying that he was flooding the board with too much happy sunshine talk and should withdraw from posting so much optimistic drivel.

My opinion: I request you post MORE denniscd. :)

It's time to question Adelman's coaching.

    Oh hell no !!!!

He is great on defense but unless he can guard the PG or SG...he needs to grab some pine.

Scola and Landry are decent of defense but much better on offense.

    Later Chuck !

DaDakota wants Chuck to be benched, so I must conclude that he needs more minutes.

It is time to move away from Chuck as a starter. Develop Scola and Landry who have huge potential in this league. r****ding their development in favor of Hayes just doesn't make sense.

If I had said that people would say I have blinders on...

    but look at the stats.

I've said it before and I'll say it again when Chuck plays more minutes this team wins games. Many will say its not a direct result of his minutes, but its a trend that can't be ignored.

I love Landry's hops and I love Scola's offensive motion, but neither one play help defense as well as Chuck. This team has enough offense, its defense we lack.

Something Yao said last night... this isn't a direct quote but a paraphrase... before the game "We all have to step up on defense and not just let Chuck and Shane do all the defensive work"

Well that's not happening.. and your second best team defender was only in the game 18 minutes or so.

Adelman needs to figure out his rotation and stick with it. No more of this fiddling by gut instinct.
