    We have had a great time together....

    I will remember the heart palpitations I felt when you first ran across my floor.

    I will remember yesterday cleaning up the little turds on my kitchen counter and dining room table.

    I will remember the subtle scampering from my room to behind the refrigerator.

    I will remember the 3 hours of sleep I got last night because of the scratching and rummaging you did through my kitchen.

    You have been a great friend for me during these tough times Doug, but now its time for you to die.

    Thanks for the memories mi amigo.

    Drewdog is performing a valuable community service by starting a new thread with this title. This way, if anyone else has a Doug of any kind (not just mice) in their life who needs to die, they can post about it here.

    The traps have been laced with peanut butter and strategically placed around my refrigerator and water heater.

    It is time Doug.

    The trap got him right on the head. His eyes were bulging out.

    I took.... ok my friend took.... a shovel and disposed of him in Waller creek behind my house. He was still squirming at the time.

    Time of death: 6:54pm CST

    We gave him a moment of silence, and then I poured Miller Lite on his head.

    Goodbye Doug..... you will be missed
