So lets say McGrady cant be moved for any value back, or any worth while players. What do we do? Do we actually give him another chance to play? What're are your guys' opinion?

He might get booed but aslong as he's not tanking on purpose or throwing away games why not let him suit up? he probably would too as he needs to show other teams his worth, whether it be for 750k a year to 7 mil a year.

So what do you guys think? ( I would rather have him take shots than Ariza taking Bricks.)

Nope, I believe he has already put on a Rockets jersey and seen the last of Toyota Center in a Rockets jersey for the last time.

    I doubt that.

The Rockets should and would let him rot so he wouldn't be able to piggyback on a contender.

    He made his bed.

    Another T-Mac thread?

T-Mac wants significant minutes to prove he can still play at a high level for his last contract. Rockets are not going to give him said minutes until he proves himself in both practices and games, something that T-Mac is unwilling to do. What is so hard about that for you guys to understand?

If T-Mac is geniunely interested in helping this team, he would have no problems working hard in practice and games, stay focused on D, and show RA that he can help the team and play as part of the team's offemnse. Instead, he chose to continue playing his diva act and was sent packing to work out privately in Chicago.

He'll probably be doing what he's doing now......staying away from the team.

Both sides have made it clear.

Houston doesn't want him back, and McGrady doesn't want to play for the Rockets again.

The ONLY way it will happen is if a trade that Morey accepts in imminent and depends on the other team seeing what McGrady can offer.

He'd rot at home and continue to deteriorate in his basketball skills as he will be away from the game for 19 months (minus his 8 min stints)

I'm a Mac fan but, the org. has isolated him. And he's requested to be traded. We are past the point of no return.

....nothing. He sits at home and collects his last good check. Houston doesn't need to buy him out since they really haven't been on the hook for his full salary anyway(insurance pays the injured parts) - plus they don't want him going to a competitor. The only way Tmac is going to play again as a Rocket is if he shuts up, works hard, takes what he is given, and has a little mercy from the coaches and management...but I don't see those first three things happening in order for the last thing to happen. I'm sure Morey and Adelman still vividly remember the way he took his season ending surgery public last year without consulting the team so frankly I don't see why they would do McGrady any favors the rest of the year. This is a competitive team without McGrady and he is a guy who would destroy that flow....

I'm not expecting any change of heart from McGrady before the end of the year so I expect McGrady to never wear a Rocket jersey again unless he buys a marked down #3 jersey from nba.com(which is turning into the numeric mark of the exiled for Houston - see Francis, Steve).

I don't believe anything is going to happen until February so let's wait and see!

But I really doubt McGrady will not be traded. Teams are playing him down right now but all it takes it one team to bite and the rest will join in.

I just don't see how a team with no playoff hopes, bad contracts, and over the cap won't see the McGrady deal as unattractive.

Trust me, owners losing money will mandate roster triming around trading deadline time.

I doubt they wont trade him, but if by some reason he is still here after the trade deadline expect more t-mac drama from both sides.
