Sorry,,,I couldn't resist. Walt had to swing at Bradley and Barkley insists on a circus ending. I'm jumping on the tank bandwagon...just for grins and so DaDakota can call me a hypocrite one last time this season. too little, too late...I know, I'm not a very good tanking strategist. But you got to love the tankwagon guys who stuck it out all season long without wavering. here's to them, and the #9 seed they deserve for all their effort. Phoenix on the road is tough enough, and the Barkley circus is just for fun, anyhow. Plus, according to Rudy, he has given Mobley the green light to go for 6th man award, and we know how Mobes at 30+ usually doesn't result in a win. Not calling you anything Pard. I want to win both of these games...I predicted a 35-47 record at the start of the year...that is what I still want. DaDakota ------------------
did you really make a 35-47 prediction before the season...you are harsh, man! I'm thinking like 60 wins when we got Francis. Then 50 after Pippen left. Then 40 after the 0-5 start. Then any wins (I'm not counting) after barkley went down.
We took ourselves from the 6th position -- with a good shot at the 5th -- to the 9th at best, and possibly the 11th. 11th is as far as we reasonably could have fallen, and we put together just enough of a win streak at the end to get there. Tanking? That ain't tanking. That's Michael Dukakis in the tank. If you're gonna go in the tank, do it right.
Heypartner, what happen man? You have no more season ticket games now? I think its kind of pointless of trying really hard to tank with only 2 games left... ------------------ Check out the best source for draft info. Draftsource.net
Anderson said he guessed we were peaking at the wrong time -- that is, too late in the season. Unfortunately, if we were playoff-bound, this would be the ideal time to be peaking. It's a shame. I was on-and-off on the tank-wagon. I didn't want to out-and-out tank, but I stopped disliking losing games, especially close ones to bad teams. Now I want to win. Our pick is going to be mediocre anyway. Now it is more important to send Barkley out on a winning note. Go Rockets! ------------------
If the "Tankwagon" is excited about getting the 9th overall pick then we've got some serious problems. ------------------ The lottery sucks!
