LOL! Dustin Long of Billings, Mont., sits and waits for the Washington Wizards to warm up before the game against the Milwaukee Bucks Wednesday, April 3, 2002, in Milwaukee. Long rode on a bus for 26 hours to see Wizards Michael Jordan, who announced Wednesday that he was not going to play the rest of the season. (AP Photo/Morry Gash) I'll also say: This is what happens when you're a fan of a player, and not of a team. Why Milwaukee? If he had picked NY, Chicago, or Washington then at least he'd be in a city where he could do something fun (no slight to Milwaukee---but I've been there).
lmao! Oh my god thats funny! yea maybe mike heard about the sad guy. Lol where did u get that??? jhhahhaha
lol it looks like hes on the front row. That could be the last tho right?? LOL Poor guy in his little nike Jordan Jersey. LoL did he take the greyhound? lmao
That's almost as funny as the Spurs fan at the Rocket game who got pelted with a birthday cake by Clutch (the mascot).
That picture is about as pathetic as Mike playing through the flu in 1997. I'd like to think I'm the biggest smartass a-hole in the tent, but those of you that are laughing really need to get some things straight.
Good point. Although at first sight it might be a TAD funny, but this is a guy who is a Jordan fan and was disappointed that he didnt get to see him play. No big deal. And for those of you who say its pathetic?!? I mean, come on!
I feel sorry for the guy and I don't know why he should be so pathetic? He is just a fan like many of us, and apparently a committed one, not a bandwagoner. Nothing pathetic about that.
loyal to what? MJ? lol you have to feel sorry for the guy. one he cant afford a car but he can afford awesome seats To the millwaukee bucks game. LOL and i betcha not shown but hes wearing the new jordans. LOL after the night before hearing jordan only has like 2 points i would not have gone you had to have seen it coming. LOL still thats funny! LOL ps greyhounds are fun !
I was laughing at the dude sitting alone in an empty arena, not the fact he was waiting for Jordan. Tou - chy. I'd like Jordan if he wasn't such an egotistical maniac. He's the greatest athlete of all time, but what a b*stard. My 5-year-old cousin back in DC went to a game this year, and after a game (a Wizards win), Jordan had just done an interview and was walking toward the tunnel, my cuz just lightly approached him, paper and Sharpie in hand, and asked for his sig. MJ was already lollygagging, he wasn't in no rush, and he told Anthony to "Fvck off, kid!" and continued to saunter toward the tunnel.
That sucks! The dude goes to that much trouble to see his favorite player. I hope MJ was able to hear what he did and get him an autograph or something.
