I thought I would indulge myself and start a thread. lol! Hey Clutch, just wanted to say how impressive it is see that the GARM threads have been about 90% news/event-related subjects, which really cuts down on the self-indulgent spam threads like "JVG SUCKS!" I figured it was just a summer thing, but now after 2 preseasons games, 90% of the discussions is coming from a news-related thread. It's so cool. Makes it easier to remember where you and your fav posters are gathering around a subject. I say this also because over the past few yrs of the flood of trades (K9 and Cat, specifically), I have been to other bbs's to follow ex-Rox and they are out of control wrt spam threads. What is up with people telling me the GARM has gone downhill. I don't think I've ever seen it better. Or maybe it's just because everyone can tell that we are going to the Finals this year! GO ROCKETS! <font size=1>before anyone says it; I'm not so naive to think that after bad games the "So and So Sucks" threads won't reappear. But it's my birthday, so spare me the obvious.</font>
It certainly has taken a nice turn over this summer. Last season it was still full of the same, Fire JVG blah blah blah crap. ALthough, there were still some nice threads. I too like where it's headed. I'm actually making appearances in there again!
Just wait for bad game to come along and the "So and So Sucks" threads begin to pop up again ....Happy Bday HP

the quality of threads and general discussion in not just the GARM, but all the forums has been of a pretty high standard these last few weeks.

Yeah, the Kelly Clarkson thread is a true hotbed of quality discourse. Posters of all sexual orientations coming together to analyse the (non-)beauty of this (extra)ordinary lady. Makes me weep, it does..
