what pitching? pitching has been their downfall...and they lost another starter to injury today. they have zero middle relief. and rivera ain't rivera. they're not winning that division. whether they can catch the wild card is the only question, i think.

It's really too bad Roger Clemens doesn't come with a warranty. With the way injuries are piling up, he's just one hamstring pull from being damaged goods. And the Yankees can't even return him. That's "$28" Million of a really, really high risk.
Sooo, when is ESPN going to start suggesting that the Yankees trade Roger to Houston or Boston by or before the trade deadline? I remember that's all they were talking about the past few years when the Astros were strugling. Turnabout is fair play you know.
I despise the Mets (the Stinking Stem is what I usually call them) but watching them beat the Yankees to a bloody pulp this weekend has been rather enjoyable.
