    Don't know the quality of the source, but we could have just signed Brevin Knight instead of drafting Brooks. Knight is NBA proven, a better distributor, and a good defender. Some one will pick him up quick.

    the *s should give you a hint about the quality of the source.

    brevin knight can't shoot, iirc. great distributor, much like rafer, but he's not an improvement in terms of shooting.

    Yeh atleast brooks can score and he's a clutch performer. Knight is always injured too.

    I don't think we drafted Brooks to be a distributor. He's a scorer and a change of pace guy.

    mike james was horrible last year in minny. he was streaky, at best. brevin knight is a horrible shooter, but very good distributor which renders him redundant given we already have rafer alston. brooks, imo, will be groomed to be a 6th man candidate.

    Naaa, guy is too old to be effective for more than 2 more years. And we already got one of those in Mike. Besides, Rafer in Adelman's system will probably be just as good a distributor as Brevin is today.
    If we're going to pickup a 3rd string PG, its best to have a young buck
