We need to unite and boycott our home games then maybe les will realize he will need to make a trade soon. I am convinced that the current team that we have will not get any better unless a major trade goes through. They can have all the meeetings and practices they want and nothing will change. I am tired of hearing Cat and Steve saying that they need to get used to jvg new system and that they know they need to pass more and go out and play the same game all the time.

    WE NEED A CHANGE NOW!!!!!

From the looks of the lower bowl at home games, you would think a boycott has been going on all season...

well we need to make it ridicoulously obvious that this team will not get any fans in the stands. a good 4,000 per game will be perfect

lmao, let's send Les an online petition.

I'm sure that would get his attention.

I couldn't agree with you more. I just don't understand why people go all the way to the downtown area, be stuck in heavy new york like traffic to see some high schoolers play b-ball. I think that even a high school team can beat the rockets right now. It is so easy to beat Yao ming, just wait for him to bring the ball down to his knees, then strip it, Yao won't get any calls against the refs b/c he doesn't deserve to get respected. WHY GO TO THE ROCKETS GAMES AND WASTE ALL YOUR MONEY WHEN YOU CAN WATCH ALL OF THEM ON CHANNEL 51 FOR FREE. OR AT A HOOTERS OR SOMETHING. Fans STOP coming to the rockets games unless they make some serious personnel changes and start going to the playoffs and start being a threat in the playoffs as well. I WILL START PAYING PEOPLE NOT TO GO TO GAMES. I WILL GIVE PEOPLE 3 TIMES FOR THEIR TICKETS, THEN I WILL BURN THE TICKETS AND MAIL THE ASHES TO LES ALEX AND C.D.

I think that this is about the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Did somebody yell "FIRE". The reason why the lower bowl looks empty is because there are to many fans in Houston like you. You know ...that suck. You know what, I suffered through some of those Orlando games and they still had fans in the seats. My god we are 13-10, it's no time to panic. By the way, since all of you are experts on running an NBA Team, how come your not running one now? or close to ever running one.

Oh and as far as that traffic thing, NY type traffic...Are you kidding me... you apparently have never been downtown Houston or NY. Go cry to someone who cares. puss

New York traffic. There will probably be 5-6 cars an hour on Main St. any given night....

NOT a good idea. Does anyone remember what happened in Charlotte? The fans tried to punish the owners by not going to the games, but they ended up just losing their team. I'm OK with annoying Les/CD to death with emails, etc but what kind of fan are you if you don't go to the games???

I disagree with the premise that Les won't make major trades if his attendance is good (which it isn't anyway). I also disagree with the related notion that Les won't trade Francis for fear of fan backlash. I think that when he fired Rudy, he signalled he'd be willing to do what it takes. Yao might be untouchable for now, but I'd think that'd be all. And, if we continue to be unable to muster any offensive firepower, I'd be surprised if Les wasn't thinking of making some big move.

man, I wish I could give posts an individual rating....this would get a ten!

    ;)

stupid bandwagon fans from different cities....you know he dont live here if he thinks the traffic around the TC is NY-style...

I went there in the middle of the day during the week, and there was ZERO traffic. A few cars here and there... I run into more traffic in outer suburbia.

    yea right..

You should see it down here on a Sunday. You can walk right down the middle of the street! The only thing going down Main are empty light rail cars (testing). There are more bums walking around than pedestrians. Pretty strange....

I stopped going to the games about 3 weeks ago. I tell you what, I am not spending that type of cash for playground basketball. This team is tough on the eyes.

I have been saying this since the summer. I AM TIRED OF THE EXCUSES FROM THIS TEAM, ESPECIALLY STEVE. I WILL NOT GO TO ANOTHER GAME UNTIL WE LEARN TO PLAY A BETTER STYLE OF BALL. I HAVE BEEN WATCHING TEAMS LIKE THE KINGS AND JAZZ MORE THAN MY BELOVED ROCKETS. I NEVER THOUGHT THAT WOULD BE POSSIBLE.

I won't blame Steve, JVG, or CD. The TRUTH is: This team cannot succeed. The system is not right for these players and these players are not right for this system. IT IS TIME FOR A CHANGE.

Boycott? Ridiculously unappreciative fans. Great, boycott the Rockets and let Les move them back to San Diego or some other place where the fans support their team (a la Sacramento).

Well, I could care less if they move, and I don't blame Les if he moves the team- I mean, the guy obviously makes an attempt to put together a winning team- don't give me the argument of signing "worthless" players to fat contracts - sorry, but the players play the game, and you can't always tell how someone is going to pan out- I put the blame squarely on the players.

Les has shown that he's willing to take risks to improve the team- sometimes they pay off (Drexler), and sometimes they dont (Pippen).

I'll follow the Rockets whether in Houston or elsewhere, I just think it's a shame that some fans can't support a winning team (which, by the way, we have been for the last 2 years).

Yeah, yeah, yeah, "we've been waiting 4 years...we want a championship now... go talk to Memphis, Orlando, Miami, Minnesota, Utah, Portland, Seattle, etc. about how long the championship process can actually take.

Sorry to vent, but I'm glad the Rockets won, warts and all, and I look forward to the next game. Go ROX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
