Now we really get to see what this team is made of and worthy of. They've played three great games out of four against a team that should be the best in the NBA, second to perhaps only San Antonio. Were the young Rockets expected to beat the Lakers? No? I don't think they have a chance to be honest. But what this season is about now is Houston winning a game in L.A. Game 5. It's not about anything but winning that game. Because if they lose 4-1, especially if it's a wide margin, this team will never get a chance to try again next year. No one will think Houston challenged L.A., no one will say anything but they weren't good enough. Winning Game five and bringing the series back to Houston is all that matters. If Houston does that, and loses game 6, I can still say this was a successful season. I think Houston will be a better team for what they have been through. I think we've seen Mobley and Francis grow - and that's invaluable. I think it will also buy them another year. I won't be surprised if the Houston team comes out and wins game 5 - because I think they want it bad it enough and they aren't going to lie down and die.
Oh My God!!You are back!!Haven't seen you in so long. I have been waitting for you to come back so I can laugh at your face since Yao have came along smoothly, I can finally do it now! HAH HAH!!!!
Aren't you the one who said Yao is a project when we draft him, and it will take him 4 or 5 years to even become a legit center.
And he was a project - he was terrible when he first started out...and it's in the second half of this year that he's come into his own. He's certainly ahead of where I though he would be, but I'm not surprised. I still think he's a couple of years away from really becoming a dominant force in the league (ala Shaq, Duncun, Garnet...)
