Absolutely. All you need to know: all five characters have no redeeming qualities. Three of them are related (though maybe not by blood), possibly four, and they all have sex with one another's mother. Also, they own a bar. It's the best comedy on television since Arrested Development. All kinds of awesome.
Very intriguing. AD is my favorite show of all time. Does Always Sunny in Philadelphia have the same kind of sarcastic, witty humor?
Here's one of the best episodes: "Dennis & Dee Go on Welfare," still up on Hulu right now. http://www.hulu.com/watch/25440/its-always-sunny-in-philadelphia-dennis-and-dee-go-on-welfare#s-p1-so-i0 That will give you some idea of whether or not to like the show. Themes involved: personal ambition, addiction, slavery, the American dream, defrauding the government. All kinds of win. Although tonight's episode is also pretty strong.
Just saw 2 episodes for the first time and I absolutely love the show. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
It's so good Danny DeVito came out of semi-retirement to act in a supporting role. (And I don't think he needed the money.) Possibly the greatest three minutes in television. Dee spends a night in Charlie's shoes (NSFW): <object width="512" height="296 "><param name="movie" value="http://www.hulu.com/embed/-VfkuLpoUvfwRZJX8QSONA"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.hulu.com/embed/-VfkuLpoUvfwRZJX8QSONA" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" width="512" height="296"></embed></object>
I wouldn't be surprised. Her appearance has changed a bit since the show first started, especially her face. She looks more cracked out in recent episodes.
