Conservapedia Conservapedia is a much-needed alternative to Wikipedia, which is increasingly anti-Christian and anti-American. I just do not know how they separate the two: anti-Christian and anti-American.
Wikipedia does not say nice things about Creationists therefore ... http://www.conservapedia.com/Examples_of_Bias_in_Wikipedia http://www.conservapedia.com/Global_warming http://www.conservapedia.com/Theory_of_Evolution
"shudder" the mission statement -- A conservative encyclopedia you can trust. (I love that) Conservapedia has over 3,800 educational, clean and concise entries on historical, scientific, legal, and economic topics, as well as more than 350 lectures and term lists. There have been over 1,900,000 page views and over 17,700 page edits. Already Conservapedia has become one of the largest user-controlled free encyclopedias on the internet. This site is growing rapidly. Conservapedia is a much-needed alternative to Wikipedia, which is increasingly anti-Christian and anti-American. On Wikipedia, many of the dates are provided in the anti-Christian "C.E." instead of "A.D.", which Conservapedia uses. Christianity receives no credit for the great advances and discoveries it inspired, such as those of the Renaissance. Read a list of many Examples of Bias in Wikipedia. Conservapedia is an online resource and meeting place where we favor Christianity and America. Conservapedia has easy-to-use indexes to facilitate review of topics. You will much prefer using Conservapedia compared to Wikipedia if you want concise answers free of "political correctness". Contributions that comply with simple commandments are respected (and improved) to the maximum extent possible. Please improve this website as you use it, and please cite your sources. With your help, Conservapedia will continue to be an online encyclopedia you can trust. This is also a meeting place, and appropriate questions may be posted at Ask questions.
In a wonderful testiment to Wikipedia, here is the straightforward and fair Wikipedia entry on 'Conservapedia' The Conservapedia article on wikipedia, on the other hand, seems to me to be a much more emotional and biased affair.
just this eveninng my four y/o asked, daddy, does god like satan? i said, i don't know sweetie, but i think that's for rudy and hillary to figure out for themselves...
I would do some right now...BUT. Typical of a conservative site, they're paranoid and want me to create an account on the login page. ...While their "make an account button" links to the login page. ...
heh fair?? there is no fairness when you admit your bias. I would no more trust Conservapedia than I would trust Liberalpedia btw want it out there, this left leaning progressive does not sanction the defacing of COnservapedia, even if I do think they are a bunch of morons.
I don't know why you think that is funny. You do realize that America has different spellings for some words than Britain, right(eg. color vs. colour)
the American way. DUH! on a side note, i've always spelled the color grey as such, i was surprised to find out many people spell it gray. apparently i'm more canadian than i thought.
the way I look at it, the Repubs/neocons dont need the help of the Dems/libs to look bad, they handle that on their own better than any Dem/lib could do for them. It just makes the Dems/libs look petty when they lower themselves to the Repub's level.
Is everything really so liberal that little bundles of conservatism feel the need to make a differnt version of everything that might offend them? Will there be a conservative theme park pretty soon? That's sorta scary. And rather stupid. But oh well - little groups of people with an inability to subject their beliefs to scrutiny have been taking their ball and going home since the start of America. I really don't think this thing is indicative of the mindset of the majority of people who consider themselves 'conservative,' and I don't think Wikipedia is 'liberal'.
I know, it's pretty amusing. The other day I noticed that Fox News started the new "1/2 Hour Show", which is a conservative version of Jon Stewart's Daily Show. It was one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen.
