He was born Wednesday afternoon in San Antonio. He weighed 9.8 pounds. Unfortunately I don't get to see him again until next week, because my wife is staying with her mom in San An and I have to work this whole week, which sucks. I'd appreciate any advice from any fathers in here....
AWESOME !! Congratulations, and let me just say to get some sleep this week because it is the last good nights sleep you will have for several years. It is an awesome road which you are beginning, very rewarding. Congrats to both you and your wife. Now raise a good responsible child. DaDakota
I'll ring in there with DaDakota. Get as much sleep NOW as you can. Although, bigger babies (our last weighed in at 11' 8") do tend to be better sleepers. You never can be sure... Congratulations!!! What did you name him? Rudy? Cuttino? Kelvin?!!
I guess the first thing you should do (probably a little late now) is make sure that really is the umbilical cord you're cutting off...
Congrats, baby boys rock! Mine was only 7.4 when he was born, but he was early and still turned out to be a little chunk. What kind of dick of a boss must you have that won't let you take off to go be with your newborn son? Unless you're hourly, then I can kind of understand I guess.
its never to young to teach a kid about the glory that is the houston rockets and why the utah jazz suck. start him with dribbling and post up moves... and congrats ps. get him a baby afro and a mooch jersey.
Congrats dc, As a fairly new father also, my advice to you:- - Help your wife out: all day every day looking after a baby is trying. You might think it is hard at work, but it is a break which she does not get - It is not as hard as everyone says - It does chage your life, but you will never really feel it - its for the better - Enjoy
