Italian Cream Cake in Houston?

Not sure if Empire Cafe has any... might try calling them. Some of their cakes are really good.

 

I just had gelato for the first time in Austin at a really great place called Teo's on 38th. Haven't seen any places in Houston though.

 

there is gelato place on eldridge and west little york called espresso cafe

Sam's Club or Wal-mart Bakery- very good & cheap!

 

It may be farther than you want to drive, but the best one I've EVER had was at the Cake Lady in Friendswood. We've served them at large parties before, and people always end up eating the crumbs off of the board until it's wiped clean. They are that good.

You know I stopped smoking 2 weeks and 2 days ago. I've done fine on eating habits, but have had mad cravings for sweets.

An italian cream cake sounds awesome at this moment.

 

I'll have to try this. I love Italian Cream Cake and I've got a b-day coming up in May....perfect time to sample it.
