Successful Scenario Due to Indiana, Minnesota, and Houston being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Indiana, Minnesota, and Houston had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
This isn't Realgm, I don't recommend starting threads on made up trades. BTW, that trade is terrible.
ha look at the stats for change in team outlook, ludacris and yes, this isnt real GM and look at the sig.....
And get thrown in prison for life. I don't see why any of these teams would do this, but it is possible!
exactly why would the other teams involved make this trade??? seriously, why don't they just hand the rockets ron artest, johnson, and ebi.
I personally thought it was funny after i saw all the team outlooks. The title describes exactly what the thread was about, and as soon as I saw it i knew it would be a realgm thread. Cut him some slack at least he titled it right.
heh. guess i shoulda titled it. it wont happen... but the money matches up... (stay out if you lack a sense of humor.)
" Real Men of Genius!!!!! Here's to you Mr. Poposterous trade suggester! " LOL, that's great, I was thinking the Exact same thing...good stuff. I don't want Ron Assault...I mean Artest....
I thought of those three teams in a trade, but it would take a healthy Juwan Howard going to Minnesota (the team did try to sign him two seasons ago, albeit he didn't have a known heart condition then). It would have to take a big trade, and us taking on a crappy contract, even if the player fits our team better, say, Austin Croshere. I'm sure Larry Bird would be happy to rid himself of Artest and bring in Happy Shiny White Boy Sczerbiak or however you spell his name, but I don't see it happening. Nice to get in another worthless post, though. How many do I have now; some 4500 and counting? Edit: 4536.
In another it won't happen dreamcast: "According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Bulls GM John Paxson and free agent Eddy Curry met face-to-face Aug. 8 to discuss Chicago's reluctance to offer a long-term deal. " Surely they would take Charlie, Moochie and Vin in a sign and trade. Hey this is fun...
I love that! Really funny! Wow, just dreamcasting for Artest is fun. Can you imagine him on the Rockets. TMac would move to SG, and the Rockets would kick team's butts on a regular basis. The NBA would give the Rockets the championship just to stop the pain.
