Good year, terrible ending that probably matters more than all of the good things that happened. Harden cannot be the franchise cornerstone anymore.
Yeah, we are not a contender, the team is mentally weak, doesn't play D, and is fragile without any of the top 8, Nene out is killing the flow. Harden also needs to stop playing casually and start protecting the ball.... It was a growth year, we aren't beating GS anyway.....we need better bigs - and that includes getting a starting PF and moving Anderson out or to the bench. DD
It's been a hell of season bro, but totally bummed out the way it's going to end. Not even going to be able to watch the rest of the playoffs. If we could just go out clawing and fighting, .
Yeah, but we took 2 games, in the semi's from the 2nd seed. We're playing with house money. Anything after OKC is a bonus.
We're the 3rd seed... why would the 3rd seed be happy just taking 2 games from the 2nd seed? It's not like we're the 7th seed.
I agree. Rockets reinforce its reputation as a pretender that can lure fans to buy enough tickets to make the organization profitable.
The NBA season is seriously too long. I'm burnt out on basketball and now I can catch up. On wicked tuna and enjoy my Stros owning b****es.
I think the loss tonight tarnishes the year. No Leonard or Parker and to get punked on you home floor after giving the game away in game 5? Hard to feel all that warm and fuzzy about this year now. My biggest concern is Harden is just too big of a mental midget to have much faith in this time of year.
The only calming fact is that Rockets had no chance reaching the WCF with GSW there. Besides that stilla disappointing end.
If this team had played their tails off tonight and it just didn't happen for them, I could live with it. But to not even show up? Screw that. This is the kind of effort that carries over to next season.
The only good thing to come out of a Game 6 shocking blowout is Morey not thinking we're just 1 piece or so away. We need a legit 2nd STAR, and everyone is expendable to get that, whether it's by trade or freeing up capspace to sign a FA
The Rockets overachieved this year. If we don't make roster improvements, we will likely regress next season, as we did last season. I wish the team could have gone out on a more positive note.
It's always a good season until Harden takes a huge dump on the court in the playoffs, honestly sick of this shet, I can't think of one year of playoffs he didn't mentally check out while he's here How people can endlessly defend him and bash other Rockets fans for saying it is honestly LOF level stupidity
I'm grabbing my 1993-1994 Championship DVD set now. Trying to remember what team basketball is all about.
